Parrot of the month!

This is Olive on soft release at Bird Rescue. She is a white-front parrot (Amazona albifrons). White fronts are one of only two sexually dimorphic parrots in Belize: the white-front males have a red flash on their shoulders which Olive doesn't have. Although she is released and flies happily with the flock of 8 other white-fronts, she still zips through the verandah and allows photo-ops like this lucky shot.
