Belize Bird Rescue can receive on site, or will travel to collect or rescue injured, orphaned or surrendered birds during daylight hours.
After dark, please contact us for assistance.
BBR is open to receive injured, orphaned or surrendered birds and other wildlife, but due to the nature of our rehabilitation programmes and Forest Department regulations, tours or visits by the general public are not permitted.

Belize Bird Rescue (BBR) works under Belize Forest Department permit for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of all wild birds, with a focus on the wild-caught parrots of the illegal pet trade in Belize. BBR provides medical care, rehab facilities, education and public awareness, and assists the Belize Forest Department with the Captive Parrot Registration Programme.
