Belize Bird Rescue is open to rescue or receive injured, orphaned or surrendered birds during daylight hours. After hours, please contact us for assistance.
Due to the nature of our rehabilitation programmes, we regret that tours or visits by the general public are not permitted.
Belize Bird Rescue (BBR) works under Belize Forest Department permit for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of all wild birds, with a focus on the wild-caught parrots of the illegal pet trade in Belize. BBR provides medical care, rehab facilities, education and public awareness, and assists the Belize Forest Department with the Captive Parrot Registration Programme.
