What we’ve learned from the birds that come through our care It starts with a call - there’s a confiscation, a surrender, or an escaped pet. A bird that was once loved – and often still is. But people change, circumstances change, situations change, sometimes it’s the bird who has changed – screaming, biting, plucking, attacking, or becoming withdrawn, depressed, or unwell. Newly arrived baby parrots a Belize Bird Rescue

February was a quieter intake month at Belize Bird Rescue, but it was still full of important rescues and hopeful progress.
