What we’ve learned from the birds that come through our care It starts with a call - there’s a confiscation, a surrender, or an escaped pet. A bird that was once loved – and often still is. But people change, circumstances change, situations change, sometimes it’s the bird who has changed – screaming, biting, plucking, attacking, or becoming withdrawn, depressed, or unwell. Belize Bird Rescue is currently seeking a Skilled Handyman & Groundskeeper to join our team at our facility in Roaring Creek, Cayo District. This is a full-time, hands-on role focused primarily on maintenance, groundskeeping, enclosure building, and light construction, helping to keep the rescue running smoothly day to day. Second chance after a window strike
